20 months

Fist bumps for 20 months!

Here is a short list  of this month's highlights.

  • loves Dora, when she sees the Wii remotes she brings it over and say "Dora, Dora, Dora"
  • substitutes /b/ for /m/, so cows say boo and cats say beow
  • started being a picky eater
  • loves to read books, not very interested in her toys
  • would live outside in our front yard if she could, she loves climbing the mulch hill around the trees and looking for flowers and acorns, also loves watching cars and trucks drive past and planes fly over
  • loves playing at the playground
  • wears size 18 and 24 month clothes
  • loves flip up books
  • we walk and/or run almost everyday, she is happy in the stroller for as long as 30 minutes which amazes me
  • very interested in cooking/baking/ helping in kitchen, always runs and pulls herself a chair to stand up in at the counter
  • saw her 1st planet
  • obsessed with airplanes, cars, trucks, and trains
  • likes organization...everything has it place and needs to go there
  • saying lots more words and is stringing them together
  • favorite books this month are Molly Lou Melon still and Eric Carle's Very Hungry Caterpillar Slowly, Slowly, Slowly said the Sloth and Rooster's Off to See the World
